MarinHealth Medical Center (formerly Marin General Hospital) is at a crucial turning point in our history. Since we first opened our doors back in 1952, we have seen a five-fold population increase. To accomodate our growing community and meet rigorous new regulations in healthcare and seismic safety, we developed plans for an innovative, new hospital that provides an unmatched healing place.
The project was funded through a combination of sources including Measure F, the $394 million bond initiative that was overwhelmingly supported and passed by our community in 2013, private donations from generous philanthropists, and revenue bonds.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community, and for the tenacious teamwork that helped to bring this dream to fruition. We want to thank our knowledgeable, experienced and highly competent team of experts.
Today, the Oak Pavilion at MarinHealth Medical Center is a best-practices environment enables our medical teams to do their best work and deliver exceptional patient care.
